Waitingbed plants in the ground on time
15-08-2013 On Thursday 15 August we planted the last of our fresh strawberry plants, with Elsanta and Sonata once again taking the lead as the main varieties. Planted on schedule, these waiting bed plants will have all the time they need to develop. Planting conditions were good this year, with overcast skies and scattered showers dominating the weather forecast. Excellent care and prime growth conditions in September and October should ensure a strong and healthy waiting bed crop in 2014.
