Strawberry plants planted!
16-08-2016 Our last strawberry waiting bed plants were planted on Tuesday 16 August. Planting conditions were good this year, with overcast skies and scattered showers. This year, we planted the varieties Elsanta and Sonata, both of which are very important for our European market. Alongside these two main varieties, this year saw us plant plots with the variety Malling Centenary, which has attracted a lot of interest from the United Kingdom. Favourable weather conditions and cultivation with an attention to detail will ensure good, healthy waiting bed plants for your strawberry growing in 2017!
