Strawberry plants in cool storage
During the months of November and December, we work on lifting our strawberry waiting bed plants. Following their planting in August, they have now developed enough for lifting. As the plants are now developing sufficient amounts of new flowers, the plants are slowly settling into a state of rest. This is the perfect moment to lift the plants so that we can sort and then store them in our cool storage facilities. In the spring of 2022, we can deliver the plants on demand to growers throughout Europe. For 2022, Beeren Plantproducts is planting the Elsanta, Sonata, Limalexia, and Malling Allure varieties.
