Strawberries growing in the field for mother plants.
15-03-2019 Last week, the mother plants for this year were planted. These plants will grow tips that can be harvested in August. Afterwards, these plants will be delivered to growers for production or planted in nursery beds. The conditions were very favourable when we planted the mother plants. After some irrigation and covering with horticultural fleece, the plants should be able to develop nicely.
In 2019, Beeren Plantproducts is making the Elsanta, Sonata, Limalexia, and Malling Allure varieties available to growers in Europe.
