Start of planting of strawberry plants
26-07-2017 In week 30 we started harvesting the first of our fresh Elsanta and Sonata variety plants. The plants were a few days ahead of schedule in terms of growth, which meant that we were able to get started at the end of July. The quality and vitality of these plants is excellent.
Once the fresh plants have been sorted they will be planted on nursery beds in our own plots. In November and December, the plants will be lifted again and sorted and then stored in our refrigerated units.
