New asparagus varieties available at Beeren Plantproducts
20-02-2016 Establishing an asparagus crop is an investment that will take a number of years. Good preparation is therefore key. Performing a soil analysis at an early stage and ensuring the good fertilization and tilling of the soil are important aspects of this. It is also important to choose the right varieties. In view of the emergence of the current high-quality varieties, it is essential to make plans in good time.
At present, many new developments are taking place within the various seed companies. New asparagus varieties are brought to the market every year. As a plant nursery, we are keen to offer growers the newest and best varieties. Beeren Plantproducts is proud to announce that you will no longer be dependent on a single supplier for the varieties Guelph Millennium and Pacific Purple in the 2017 planting year. For the first time, these varieties will be available as Select Plant asparagus crowns at Beeren Plantproducts. In addition to the aforementioned varieties, we also offer the new varieties Frühlim F1, Terralim F1 and Raffaelo F1 with the Select Plant quality in 2017.
In order to guarantee availability, we would like to ask you to place orders for the desired varieties as early as possible. This will ensure that the varieties and amounts you require are available.
