First leek plants lifted
10-06-2016 Entirely in line with our schedule, we began supplying our first leek plants in the week beginning 23 May (week 21). The first tunnel plants have already been supplied to France, Ireland, Denmark, and Belgium. And as in previous years, more than twenty different leek varieties will be sent to growers across Europe.
The quality of the first leek plants was excellent, with good emergence and uniformity. Beeren Plantproducts is able to supply leek plants until mid August.
