First asparagus crowns drilled for 2017
11-04-2016 The majority of our asparagus crowns have now been sown for 2017. Conditions in April were ideal for cultivating the soil and creating a seed bed. We are making good progress in sowing the different varieties and expect to have all plots sown by the end of April. During the coming year, Beeren Plantproducts will produce twenty different varieties of asparagus for growers throughout Europe.
