Delivery of the first asparagus plants of 2017
On the first day of March, we once again started sorting and packing our asparagus plants. After the first asparagus plants were lifted under ideal circumstances on 28 February, the first plants were delivered in Southern France and Italy in week 9. The first Dutch greenhouse growers have also made a start on planting. Thanks to the excellent weather conditions in Southern Europe, many plants can already be delivered to the growers in these areas. All asparagus plants are therefore lifted and packed on demand. The plants have an ideal weight and are in excellent health.
