Deliveries of leek plants are underway
Currently, we are in the middle of our delivery season for our leek plants. After a slow start at the end of May, we are now in the peak of our deliveries. A shortage of rain together with colder nights and a lot of wind caused the slow start. As of the beginning of June onwards, the weather improved. This accelerated plant growth meaning that we could deliver on schedule again.
The quality of the plants is good thanks to the continuous checks and monitoring by our own staff and independent specialists.
Annually, Beeren Plantproducts produces over 30 different varieties of leek plants for professional growers throughout Europe. Our main markets are Belgium, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. We aim to deliver quickly and at low cost thanks to efficient planning and combined transports.
