Asparagus crowns for 2015 sown
02-05-2014 Our last asparagus crowns were sown on Friday 25 April. This spring, the circumstances were extremely good. Dry and reasonable temperatures produced excellent conditions in the field for tilling and sowing, certainly when compared to last year when there was still frost in the ground at the end of March. After all the plots had been sown, there was also an end to the long, dry period, with rain and moderate temperatures at the start of May providing good conditions for germination.
